She shares her research by writing publications, teaching, and speaking at conferences. Outside of the classroom, Oforiwaa Pee publicly engages the community on her research, improving access to trails, environmental and social justice.

In addition to these, she serves as a data-driven consultant. She optimizes business strategies by combining business data and location intelligence to help companies gain a competitive edge in their markets. Using location data, she helps improve inclusivity and diversity to public amenities and nature. This is an extension of her academic and professional experiences. Much of her work is focused on combining her Geography and Urban Planning training with her business experience to methodically identify and quantify the most promising locations at the intersection of demographic, economic, traffic, environmental, consumer behavior, and business competitor activities. With that, she manages a broad range of mapping and data analytics projects, converting predictive insights into strategic planning intelligence to support business and social initiatives.

A native of Ghana, she has learned to appreciate and thrive in diverse and dynamic environments through her experiences studying and living in multicultural and international contexts. She honed her English (Fluent), French (Working Proficiency), Greek (Basic), Akan, Fanti, and Ga (Native) language skills and learned to work independently while thriving in a collaborative setting. When she is not unlocking social science and business mysteries, she enjoys hiking trails, making clothes with her sewing machine, and cooking Jollof. She is also always looking for ways to satiate the travel bug, whether planning her next trip abroad or visiting a new neighborhood closer to home. She can most often be found wandering in Accra, New York, or Toronto unless she is off doing fieldwork in Johannesburg.
